latest-news2019

Osaka, Japan, February 1, 2018 ? KOKUYO Co., Ltd., (headquartered in Osaka; president and CEO: Hidekuni Kuroda) proudly announces that it designed a new Sydney office and a co-working space, doq 89, for doq Pty Ltd. (“doq”), an Australian marketing company that was relocated to the new office in January 2019.

KOKUYO has engaged in creating spaces for our customers in a variety of facilities, such as offices and educational, cultural, public, and commercial spaces, in Japan and overseas. The new office, doq 89, that we designed this time is the first case of its kind for our business in Australia, where we engaged in everything from designing to creating a space.

Doq provides marketing solutions to companies that conduct business globally, including Japan and Australia, which include the consultation, planning, development, implementation, and management of brand marketing and cross-cultural marketing.
For the new office for doq 89, KOKUYO was involved from the planning phase and worked throughout the creation of the office, including planning, interior design, and coordination of furniture. For this space, we adopted the ABW (Activity Based Working) approach that enables workers to select a space and a style according to their purpose and working style. At the same time, we created a co-working space within the office, which serves as a place for open innovation that combines the wisdom and ideas of diverse people.
